PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SilClar 610 is synthetically produced, amorphous silica dioxide (SiO2) which appears as white powder.

APPLICATION

SilClar 610 is a highly selective adsorbent developed specifically for the brewing process and highly efficient for "chill-proofing". The high level of chemical purity and amorphous nature of SilClar® insure it is safe and effective. It is chemically inert, insoluble in beer, and therefore can be easily and completely removed during the filtration process.

SilClar 610 is a non-crystalline silica gel adsorbent. Silica gel meets the requirements of the FDA for food applications. Information to date indicates that the dust from the product is not toxic and does not cause fibrosis. Please refer also to national laws and regulations.
